Tonight the Las Vegas Aces visit Wintrus as The Sky seek to revenge a 84-80 loss last week at The Aces.

The Sky is coming off an impressive win over the Champion Lynx which was probably their best defensive effort this year.

The question is will Parker start again tonight. I think starting Parker helps the defense and rebounding and also helps Williams by not putting her at a size disadvantage that gets her in foul trouble.

Hopefully Ndour will be able to return also.

GO SKY!!!

I really couldn't get angry last night because it was basically a poor shooting night. They hustled and fought but couldn't score.

What's frustrating is post season opportunity slips away with every loss.

At some point this team has to get on a roll or kiss post season goodbye.

The Sky can't play defense at all. If they made the playoffs they would be one and done. The best thing for the Sky is to be who they are (a lottery team) and draft the best post player in the 2019 draft that can rebound and defend the paint. Hopefully they get lucky and get the first or second pick.

I would say The Sky doesn't play defense "consistently", just as they cannot score "consistently".

They defended pretty well against Vegas but their shooting was not good.

Additionally they should not "tank" their season as some teams have done. Play hard and compete and let the chips fall!!!

I am not suggesting that they tank. With a team like the Sky the focus should be on player development and improving as a team.

Indeed....player development and real work is needed with Coates! She's been getting more minutes and contributing, but she got in foul trouble quickly.

She can be a great weapon in the low post!
