Chicago Sky Re-Signs Veteran Guard Perkins

Chicago Sky Head Coach and General Manager Bo Overton announced today that the team has re-signed veteran guard Jia Perkins to a three-year contract.

"We are thrilled that she will remain in the lineup," said Overton. "In her two seasons with the Sky, she has emerged as a team leader on and off the court, and we look forward to the ways her game will develop in the years ahead."

"I'm excited to stay in Chicago," said Perkins. "It's been my home for the past two seasons and I look forward to spending the next few years with Sky teammates, staff, and fans. And I want to continue to help build a great team and bring a WNBA Championship to Chicago."

Nice going Sky! No beating around the bush... CHI gives Jia a great commitment with that 3-year contract. Well deserved..  Jia was golden last season and didn't even complain about coming off the bench!
