Five Chicago Sky athletes will make appearances at McDonald’s restaurants in the city, Elk Grove Village, Woodridge and Joliet on Thursday, May 15. Two-time WNBA All-Star Candice Dupree, 2007 WNBA Rookie of the Year Armintie Price, the Sky’s top draft pick, 6’6” LSU star Sylvia Fowles, WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year finalist Jia Perkins and six-year veteran Brooke Wyckoff will help customers and sign autographs at McDonald’s as part of a WNBA-wide sampling day for the chain’s new Southern Style Chicken Sandwich.

I am glad you posted that Bullsky. I work out near Woodridge and was going to stop by on my lunch hour to see Candice but it looks like she will not be there until 3:00. Saved me a wasted trip. Thanks. The e-mail that was sent out did not specify times.

Everything they say about her being the nicest person you will ever meet is TRUE. She is very sweet...

Wish I was able to go to see one of those guys yesterday, but I

just couldn't. I was actually downtown yesterday (actually I was

at UIC, right next to the Pavillion) but the closest Mickey D's with

a w/ a Sky player to the Pavillion was like 3 miles away. I didn't

have time to walk there nor did I have the time to figure out

what bus I needed to take to get there.

ANYWAY (I ramble on WAAAAY too much about irrelevant stuff,

don't I? I really need to stop that ), here are some cool pics

from WNBA.com...

Oh, and I want a Sky sweatsuit like Sylvia and Brooke are

wearing. They're navy blue, gray and white! That's a really

cool color combination.

I'm all for anything that ISN'T sky blue and yellow

...
